DRAIN AND COIL CLEANING:
Let’s get to the nitty gritty.   If the drain and coil are not kept clean, the system will freeze up and the drain will overflow.  The only proper way to clean an evaporator coil is to pump down the system, remove the coil, chemically wash and rinse it to remove dirt and kill bacteria.  Then, remove the blower to clean the blower wheel and housing.  Vacuum and wipe the inside of the cabinet, vacuum out the primary drain pan and drain line, and reinstall all the components.  Next, evacuate the refrigerant pipes, check for leaks and recharge the system.  Anything less than this, you haven’t gotten your monies worth.
